Strategy guide for Khyrak. (He only has 1 name... awesome)
1) Starting Talents: Might, Fury, Fitness, Integrity, Zeal, Swiftness, Youth.
2) Order of Ability learning:
Talents:
Passive - "Bleed" - Enemies Khyrak attacks with Bleed skills, lose health over time
Q (BurrowStrike) - Burrows in a line, popping up (stunning) anyone in that line
W (Rend) - An extra attack (causes bleed) - Fast Cooldown, low mana cost (This is what I use alot for procing on hit items)
E (Feast) - Passive (Adds lifesteal to unit kills)
R (Armor) - Spell Damage Ult, that also causes players to Bleed. Decent amount of damage, but overall not the main reason to pick khyrak.
Laning Order (Q W E Q Q R Q E E E R W W W Y R Y Y)
Jungling Order (W E Q Q Q R Q E E E R W W W Y R Y Y)
3) Item Build.
Khyrak is a melee hero mostly useful for the stun and little bit of bursty damage. A key item to add for him is atom smasher, which will keep units locked to you, as you beat on them.
Lane Items: (More Armor and Life)
1) Duran's Buckler
2) Revolver
3) Revolver --> Atom Smasher (This is your key item)-(Two of your spell casts proc the atom smasher slowing and damage. This is huge. Note W resets quickly)
4) Coat of Arms (Provides Wpn Speed, INT and lots of Health - Also team friendly aura
5) Pyre (Wpn Speed)
6) Explosive Retrofit
7) Force of Entropy (Life and Wpn Damage)
8) Contamination Shard (STR and Armor/Spell Armor) (This last item is debatable, could also go with Galactic defender, or really any item you want)
Jungle Items: (More Damage)
1) Eye of Narud
2) Black Hole Magnum
3) Coat of Arms
4) Super Heated Mantle
Optional Deviation from this point.
4) Notes on gameplay:
Khyrak is quite strong, and most people do not notice his burst damage ability. Best way to engage is with your Q to pop people up. I usually let him aa those heroes once, then click W to get a rend in. When you have atom smasher, both these attacks are followed by an auto attack that slows the hero immensely.
Basically pick your moment to engage. I have designed this build to be scary and to do lots of damage. The reason you will live is because all these damage items also add life. You will have relatively high life and wpn speed, and not so much armor. So you are mostly a engage and kill hero with this build. Quite fun for pub games. Less tested for IH games vs high end opponents.
